Dr. Mathew Thomas is a distinguished Fetal Medicine Consultant and Radiologist based in Kollam, Kerala. He completed his MBBS and MD in Radiodiagnosis, followed by a specialist Fellowship in Fetal Imaging and Fetal Echocardiography at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi — one of India's foremost centres for fetal medicine training.
He is an FMF UK (Fetal Medicine Foundation, London) Certified Operator for both NT Scan and Targeted Anomaly Scan (TIFFA) — an internationally audited qualification held by only a handful of practitioners in Kerala. His certification means every risk calculation he provides meets the same globally validated standard used by leading fetal medicine centres worldwide.
